England caretaker boss Lee Carsley is proud to be in charge of Wembley Stadium on Tuesday.
Carsley took over as caretaker manager for England after Gareth Southgate left the team after Euros and led the team to a 2-0 win in Ireland in their first Nations League game on Saturday.
Carsley will take charge of his first home game at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday against Finland, and the former Under-21s boss, who won last year’s European Championship, described it as a proud moment.
“It’s a really proud moment for me and I want to have another great night for the players. I’m really excited for this game.”
“We will change two or three positions to freshen up a bit, but the group of players is very motivate and we should look forward to the game on the pitch with that feeling.”
“I want to control the game and play excitingly UFABET. The fans expect England to create chances at home and play at a good pace. Everyone is fit now and the way they are training give them a chance to play,” Carsley concluded.
Carsley echoes that motivation to kick on with the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, meaning attention has already turned to October’s home game against Greece and trip to Finland.
